in supporting local efforts with some friendly competition and family fun!!

There will be no early packet pickup or race day registration. Runners must be registered by 6:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2020.
Registration Fees
Early Registration through October 1:
5K - $30
Fun Run - $15
Standard Registration October 2 - October 31:5K - $35
Fun Run - $20
Participants registered by October 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt and swag bag.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Monster Mash 5K and Fun Run will be done in a safe, socially-distanced manner.
- The 5K race will be held on Halloween morning, Saturday Oct 31 in Downtown Pilot Mountain.
- Runners must register for a 30-minute start wave at either 8:00, 8:30 or 9:00 AM. No more than 50 runners will be assigned to each 30-minute wave.*
- You should plan to arrive at Town Hall in Pilot Mountain (124 W. Main Street) approximately 30 minutes prior to the start time assigned to you. If you arrive early, please wait in your car until the half-hour window prior to your race.
- You must wear a face mask from the time you arrive until you are in positio
n at the starting area.
- During your 30-minute arrival window, proceed to the screening/check-in area.
- At the check-in area, you will answer COVID-19 screening questions, have your temperature checked, sign a race waiver, and receive your race bib.
- You may remove your mask when you are at the starting line just before the start.
- After you have crossed the finish line, please put your mask back on, grab a bottled water, then pick up your swag bag with finishers medal and t-shirt and head home to watch the LIVE results online.
- Race awards will be available for pickup after the race - Date and location to be announced.
Awards
Trophies will be given to the Top Male and Female Overall and Top 2 Males and Females in each age division: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
All participants will receive finisher's medals!
*If you were registered for the spring 5K that was postponed to this date, and need to select a Wave Start Time (or want to edit your selected Start Wave Time)...

Our Mission
Pilot Mountain Unites assumed ownership of the Pilot Mountain Woman’s Club Heart and Sole 5K when the race was discontinued in 2019. Our organization is hoping to expand on the great work they started. Proceeds from this race, and the ones to come, will be used to start a local grant program to serve our community members. For instance, if an elderly person needs fuel oil or there is a family in need, those funds would be available.
Pilot Mountain Unites is a local 501c3 Nonprofit organization.
